Elected officials and representatives from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, Lemon Grove Firefighters, and other local public agencies will kick off “Operation Safe Summer for Kids” at the new Lemon Grove Library.
The event will provide free child identification kits, instruction on how to identify sex offenders near residences, information on how to keep the neighborhood crime-free, bring awareness of other available community resources, and help familiarize the community members with those entrusted to protect and serve them.
Refreshments will be provided.
