REMINDER: Columbus Day Means Some Closures
While some are not observing the day, many others are.
All courts, post offices and banks in San Diego County will be closed today because of Columbus Day.
The federal holiday will not be observed by most schools, city governments and libraries, according to local city officials.
Also, parking meters will be enforced and all public buses, trolleys and trains operated by the North County Transit District and the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System are scheduled to run on their normal weekday schedules.
