“Salmagundi” has been a well-known word to the most of the crafting world for 35+ years, previously owned by a well-loved lady named, Jean Shelton. Her Yelp reviews say it all:
Kathy A. from Chula Vista wrote, “I called EVERY craft store in the San Diego area and no one carried quilling supplies! A friend told me about Salmagundi and I called to check on their inventory. Not only did they have all the tools and paper I was looking for, but at a fraction of the online prices I’d found. Jean even showed me some of her projects and techniques! It was a great visit! So glad I found it!”
And Paulie B. from San Diego wrote, “Located on Broadway at Lemon Ave, in a small strip mall facing the street. The place is tiny, but if you dig on crafts, this place probably has it... if they don’t, the courteous owner can sure offer you guidance on where to go. She is sweet, quiet and clearly very knowledgeable about craft arts and supplies. The shop was recommended to me, and I’m glad I did so... THIS PLACE is my new go to!”

“Salmagundi” is a hidden treasure and I was fortunate enough to purchase this gem. Jean was ready to retire and planned on liquidating at the end of the year, as a longtime customer, I would have been devastated.
As the new owner, the only thing I will be changing is the name “Kat’s Krafting Korner!” Once I get my website up and running, www.kraftingkorner.com, I will be offering crafting classes and consignment. When you can’t find what you are looking for anywhere else, come visit me, Kat! If I don’t have it, I can get it! I promise you will not be disappointed.
