The story highlights the casino's frequent payouts while also reminding Lincoln-area residents about problem gambling resources, including the national hotline and support website.
   

• $12M safety upgrade approved for busy Sierra College Boulevard intersection (sacbee.com) — Drivers in Lincoln will see a major safety upgrade at Sierra College Boulevard and Twelve Bridges Drive, where a new traffic signal and road widening are planned in a nearly $12 million project. Funded jointly by Placer County, the city of Lincoln, and a regional transportation agency, construction is expected to start in 2027 and won't tap the county's general fund.
