1,400 Drivers Stopped During Livermore DUI Checkpoint

One person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and 10 citations were handed out for suspended/unlicensed driving.

LIVERMORE, CA — A DUI/driver's license checkpoint that was conducted May 10 by the Livermore Police Department resulted in one arrest, 10 citations and four vehicles impounded, police reported. The checkpoint started at 8 p.m. and ran until 1 a.m. the next day. During that time, more than 1,400 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, according to Livermore police. The one arrest was for suspicion of driving under the influence, and the citations were for suspended/unlicensed driving.
