2 Arrested In Connection With Shooting Of 15-Year-Old Girl: LPD

Livermore police arrested a 17-year-old and a 44-year-old in connection with a 15-year-old girl found dead in Livermore earlier this month.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police said Thursday that they arrested a 17-year-old boy and a 44-year-old woman, both from Livermore, in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old girl from Richmond.

The girl, whose name has not been released, was found dead from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle on April 15 at 8 p.m. on Meritage Common and Collier Canyon Road in Livermore, near Las Positas College.

On Tuesday, police arrested the 17-year-old suspect at the Super 8 Motel on Foothill Boulevard in Hayward, LPD said in a news release. He was booked into Alameda County Juvenile Hall on one count of murder.

Police said the suspect and the victim of the shooting knew each other, but are not releasing the identity of the victim because an investigation is ongoing. The case is now being handled by the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday, police arrested Tomika Cremer, 44, of Livermore, on North Canyons Parkway at Collier Canyon Road. Police say Cremer is related to the suspect, and was arrested for accessory to murder.
