Massive Livermore Bust Seizes Fireworks, Drugs, Cash

Police said they found multiple drugs, hundreds of vape products and more than 200 pounds of illegal fireworks in a Livermore home.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police say they found a large cache of drugs, illegal fireworks and vape products, and thousands of dollars in cash at a Livermore residence Wednesday.

On Wednesday night, the LPD's Crime Prevention Unit served a narcotics-related search warrant at a residence on North I Street. During the search, officers say they located:

  • Nearly 3 ounces of cocaine
  • Nearly 2 ounces of psilocybin
  • Approximately 0.5 ounces of methamphethamine
  • Approximately 1.5 pounds of cannabis
  • More than 100 flavored vapes
  • More than 100 cannabis apes and edibles
  • More than 200 pounds of illegal fireworks
  • More than $3,000 in cash

Juan Carlos Cruz, 19, was arrested on multiple charges, including possession and sales of narcotics and possession of more than 100 pounds of illegal fireworks, police said.
