21-Acre Grass Fire Breaks Out In Livermore: ACFD
Crews put out a two-alarm fire on Collier Canyon Road Saturday night.

LIVERMORE, CA — Multiple crews extinguished a 21-acre, two-alarm grass fire on the 6300 block of Collier Canyon Road in Livermore, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
The fire was first reported Saturday at around 10:20 p.m., according to ACFD spokesperson Cheryl Hurd. Crews from ACFD, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, CAL Fire, and Camp Parks responded to the fire, and managed to contain it to 21 acres.
No injuries were reported.

Collier Canyon Road is a long, rural road through the hills north of I-580 and Las Positas College.
