4 Suspects Arrested Following Rash Of Livermore Car Burglaries
BREAKING: Police said the suspects were looking for valuables and car keys inside the 36 vehicles damaged earlier this month.

LIVERMORE, CA — Four suspects have been arrested and two stolen cars have been recovered this week and all are connected to the recent rash of car burglaries and vandalism reported earlier this month, Livermore police officials said.
“In interviewing the suspects in these cases, LPD detectives learned that the suspects were breaking into vehicles not only to steal items of value, but also hoping to find keys to the vehicles left inside,” police said in a statement. “Both of the vehicles stolen in these cases had keys to the vehicle left inside the car allowing the suspects to quickly steal them.”
Police are asking residents to avoid leaving valuables, including keys, inside their unattended cars. They ask residents to always lock their cars and never leave valuable items in plain sight.

Based on the investigation, four suspects smashed out windows during the burglaries and then fled when the vehicle alarms sounded, police said. Investigators later learned that Brentwood recently had a similar string of vehicle burglaries in which the suspects stole the white Lexus.
The investigation is ongoing and police are not releasing additional information, including the suspect’s identities, at this time.
