Summer is in full swing here in Livermore, which means it's a great time to soak up the sunshine, explore the community and enjoy some fun without spending a fortune. We’ve rounded some free (or cheap!) outdoor events happening in and around the Livermore area — perfect for families, friends or a solo summer outing. Make sure to check with event organizers before you head out — dates/times, parking info, ticket requirements or weather cancellations can change.

2025 Alameda County Fair

Where: Alameda County Fairgrounds, 4501 Pleasanton Ave, Pleasanton, CA
When: Wednesdays through Sundays, June 13 to July 6, 2025 — 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Note: Admission gates close at 9:30 PM. July 4th special hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (admission gate closes at 4:00 PM)
