Altamont Cruisers Nostalgia Day Car Show Scheduled Sunday

LIVERMORE, CA — Enjoy police cars of years past with the Altamont Cruisers Nostalgia Day Car Show, which will take place in downtown Livermore on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to the display of cars, Livermore Police Volunteers will host a child fingerprinting booth on 1st Street in front of Caratti Jewelers. The program will gather vital statistics, fingerprints and a photograph of the child, which will be stored on a USB memory stick and provided to the parents for their own records. Police will not retain or store the data collected.

Members of the Livermore Police Department Recruitment Team will also host a booth to answer questions about anyone interested in joining the department, which is hiring for four positions.

The following street closures will be in effect on Sunday:

• First Street from Maple Avenue to South L Street
• Second Street from South Livermore Avenue to South L Street
• Third Street from South Livermore Avenue to South L Street
• South Livermore Avenue between Railroad Avenue and Second Street
• Side streets intersecting the above closures
