LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore is expecting to host thousands of visitors this weekend for Downtown Street FEst, its annual blowout celebration featuring ample wine, beer, food, live music, over 120 vendors, a kid’s entertainment zone, and more.
Here’s what to know.
Drink
Four local breweries and eight local wineries are pouring from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, though ticket sales end a half hour before closing time. Pouring will take place at Stockmen’s Park and Bankhead Plaza.
Stockmen’s Park will feature Del Cielo Brewing Co. and Altamont Beer Works, CHarles R Vineyards, Cuda Ridge Wines, Steven Kent Winery, Wood Family Vineyards, JMC Cellars w/Big White House Cellars (Peche Mignon) and New Vintage Beverage.
Bankhead Plaza will feature Heady Works, Del Cielo Brewing Co., Arroyo Cellars, McGrail Vineyards & Winery, Sakura Winery and Omega Road Winery.

Live Music
14 bands - ranging from reggae to motown to country and everything in between – will play at Stockmen’s Park and Bankhead Plaza Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Transportation and Parking
Festival goers should designate a sober driver.
Wheels Bus is offering free rides for festival goers along Rapid routes 15, 10R, and 30R. See here for more details.

For those who do drive, street parking is free. Parking lots are available on the corner of Railroad Avenue and L Street, and Railroad Avenue and I Street.
