Man Captured On Video Discarding Drugs In Trash Bags: Livermore Police

LIVERMORE, CA — A man was arrested in Livermore on suspicion of several drug-related offenses after he was captured on video putting drugs in trash bags, according to police.

Officers made contact with 56-year-old Michael Wilson around 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of a hotel on Southfront Road, police said.

Security video showed Wilson discarding suspected drugs in trash bin liners and officers found just under 2 ounces of methamphetamine in a bin, according to police. They also recovered a backpack containing dimethyltryptamine and syringes loaded with meth, police said.

Wilson was arrested on suspicion of charges including possessing a controlled substance for sale, narcotics possession, and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, according to police.
