SigAlert: 3-Vehicle Crash, Overturned Car Blocks I-580

LIVERMORE, CA — The right and center lanes of eastbound I-580 are closed between I-580 eastbound between S. Vasco Road and First Street following a three-vehicle crash with injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol and 511.org.

According to CHP, a blue Mazda SUV, a sedan, and a semi-truck were involved in a crash that was reported 4:25 p.m. Thursday. The gray sedan overturned, and blocked at all lanes at one point. 511.org reported injuries in the crash, but the CHP log does not mention any injuries.

A SigAlert was issued at 4:41 p.m., and lanes remain closed on eastbound I-580 as of 5 p.m.

Closer to Tracy, vegetation and structure fires burning also caused lane closures and delays.
