Livermore 'Tip A Cop' To Raise Money For Special Olympics

LIVERMORE, CA — If you've ever been curious what it's like to be waited on by police officers, you're in luck. On Aug. 11 from 5-9 p.m., the Livermore Police Department will host its annual "Tip-A-Cop" event at Cattlemens Steakhouse on 2882 Kitty Hawk Road. Officers will serve meals, and all of the tips they receive will be donated to the Special Olympics of Northern California, which they do each year.

The money will be used to provide local Special Olympics athletes with resources in sports, health, and leadership.
