• 52-Year-Old Man Killed In Downtown Livermore Motorcycle Crash (patch.com) — Livermore residents are being alerted to a deadly motorcycle and pickup collision at First Street and South P Street that claimed the life of a 52-year-old rider Friday night. Police say the truck driver stayed at the scene while investigators work to determine the cause, and note this is one of several recent motorcycle fatalities affecting the Livermore community.
• New PFAS treatment systems could be on tap for three water stations (livermorevine.com) — Livermore residents could soon see safer drinking water as the Planning Commission weighs new PFAS treatment systems for three California Water Service stations on East, Elm, and Olivina avenues. The commission will also consider rezoning 4200 East Ave. to allow more neighborhood commercial uses, including a proposed veterinary clinic, with recommendations headed to the City Council for final decisions.
• Bay Area Wine Region Named the Best in America, and It's Not Napa or Sonoma Bay Area Telegraph (bayareatelegraph.com) — Livermore Valley has just been named Wine Enthusiast's 2026 American Wine Region of the Year, putting the area's wineries and tasting rooms firmly in the national spotlight. For local residents, it's fresh validation of a wine scene that blends historic names like Wente and Concannon with small family producers, women winemakers, and signature Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc grown right here.
