TRI-VALLEY LEARNING CORP. CLOSES ON $42 MILLION DOLLAR K-12 CAMPUS FACILITIES PROJECT FOR LIVERMORE VALLEY CHARTER SCHOOLS

Livermore Valley Charter School (LVCS) will host a ground-breaking ceremony on its new state-of-the-art facility at Montevina, located at 3168 Constitution Drive in Livermore, on Friday, October 5th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.  “We want to use this opportunity to thank all of our parents and other supporters for helping to make this dream a reality for LVCS students,” said Tri-Valley Learning Corporation (TVLC) Chief Operating Officer Bill Batchelor.

Livermore Mayor John Marchand will be on hand to represent the broader Livermore community for the celebration. In addition, LVCS will have a jumpy house for kids. Local radio station KKIQ will be adding to the excitement with a live broadcast from Montevina.

TVLC will also be acquiring the adjacent open field to provide a shared use athletic facility for both LVCS and Livermore Valley Charter Preparatory High School (LVCP). Students will be able to use the future facility for sports such as football, soccer, track, and baseball. The broader community will also have access to the facilities.

LVCS currently operates out of a leased school site on Sonoma Avenue in Livermore, and LVCP operates out of a leased site on Portola Avenue in Livermore.

LVCS and LVCP are tuition-free, California public charter schools. They have no district boundaries; anyone who wishes to attend the charter school may apply. The top-performing Livermore Charter Schools are both authorized by the California State Board of Education.
