Livermore Shooting: Arrest Made, Attempted Murder Booking Charge

LIVERMORE, CA — Police say they've arrested a man who fired shots into an occupied car after an argument in the Livermore Garden Apartments parking lot Saturday. Alejandro Bustosmorales, 21, was arrested without incident Wednesday afternoon at the same complex on suspicion of attempted murder.

Livermore Police received a call of shots fired around 9 p.m. Saturday night and witnesses identified Bustosmorales as the gunman, according to Officer Taylor Burruss. There were no injuries, but the car was damaged.

Bustosmorales was associated with addresses in Livermore and Stockton, she said.

He is being held in the Santa Rita Jail without bail, jail records show. His arraignment is scheduled Friday morning in the East County Hall of Justice.
