LIVERMORE, CA — Glenn Stewart captured this raging river on Jan. 1, shortly after one of the first, and most powerful, atmospheric rivers dumped about two inches of rain onto Livermore.

The photos are taken from and near the Holmes Street Bridge looking downstream.
