Athleta Opens First US Outlet In Livermore

LIVERMORE, CA — Women's apparel retailer Athleta opened its first U.S.-based outlet this week — in Livermore. The store opened Tuesday at San Francisco Premium Outlets near the center's south entrance by Saks off 5th.

“We are thrilled to add Athleta to our property as we know that everyone loves the comfort and style of quality athleisure wear,” said Marissa Durazzo, director of marketing and business development for San Francisco Premium Outlets. “Beyond quality products, Athleta’s commitment to inclusivity and community are aligned with our values and we’re proud to be the first center to have an Athleta outlet location.”

Founded in 1998, Gap Inc.-owned Athleta offers fitness apparel designed by women athletes. The Livermore store is slated to carry a broad range of tops, bras, underwear, jackets, bottoms and swim wear. The location will also carry Athleta Girl, a clothing line for younger female athletes.

The Athleta store will be open during standard center hours, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sundays, with special holiday hours starting Black Friday weekend.

San Francisco Premium Outlets also recently welcomed two other new stores: Arc’Teryx, an outerwear retailer, and Merrell, a footwear retailer.
