Black Friday Outlet Mall Shoppers Slow I-580 To Crawl

LIVERMORE, CA — Traffic on I-580 slowed to a crawl near the San Francisco Premium Outlet Mall in Livermore on Friday afternoon. Hundreds of eager Black Friday shoppers hungry for a good bargain flooded Tri-Valley, backing the traffic up in both directions as drivers tried to make their way to the popular mall to get a jump on their holiday shopping.

As of noon, the main parking lot and overflow parking at the mall were bursting at the seams as drivers competed for coveted parking spot real estate. Traffic backed up to Castro Valley and into Livermore and remained slow throughout the day, according to 511.

The San Francisco Premium Outlets are located at 2774 Livermore Outlets Dr. in Livermore.
