BREAKING: Big Rig Crash Prompts Sig-Alert On I-580 Near Livermore

LIVERMORE, CA: A Sig-Alert has been issued for eastbound I-580 near N. Flynn Road in unincorporated Alameda County due to a big rig collision, California Highway Patrol officials said. The big rig reportedly left the roadway sometime after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Multiple crashes have been reported along I-580 since the morning, according to CHP records. CHP officials told Patch they do not yet know if the crashes are weather related. Emergency crews are working to clear the collisions. No word yet on injuries associated with the crashes.
