Bruno Canziani Dog Park To Be Divided
The project includes fencing, signage, irrigation modifications, doggie bag dispenser installation and labor.

From LARPD: At a regular meeting Wednesday night, the Board of Directors for the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District reviewed plans for dividing several dog parks into separate areas for large and small dogs.Recent public interest prompted District staff to look at costs associated with separating existing dog parks into large and small sections. The Facilities Committee reviewed options at a meeting on March 20, with a recommendation to staff to explore options for creating dog park separations at four existing locations: Bruno Canziani Park, Vista Meadows Park, May Nissen Park and Max Baer Park. The Robertson Park dog park will not have a separation added. LARPD currently operates seven dog parks, two of which already have separate areas for large and small dogs: Cayetano Park and Marlin Pound Park.Bruno Canziani Park will receive the separation during the current fiscal year, dedicating $16,330 from the operating budget. The project includes fencing, signage, irrigation modifications, doggie bag dispenser installation and labor. The other dog parks identified for separation will be considered for inclusion in the 2018-2019 operating budget.
