Livermore Brush Fire Contained To 5+ Acres

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters extinguished a vegetation fire reported in Livermore on Wednesday afternoon. The blaze, which was contained to between five and six acres, was reported near the Altamont Pass in the area of Greenville Road at about 1:15 p.m.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Alameda County Fire officials said. Smoke from the fire could be seen across Tri-Valley.
