Brush Fire On I-580 Extinguished

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a brush fire on westbound Interstate 580 east of Greenville Road in Livermore this afternoon. The blaze was reported just before 1 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP and Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews responded to the blaze. Smoke from the fire could be seen throughout the Tri-Valley area. No other information is available.
