Brush Fire Fought From Air In Livermore

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department said the blaze broke out Monday afternoon.

LIVERMORE, CA – A Monday wildfire off Arroyo Road in Livermore was knocked down by the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, with assistance from the Alameda County Fire Department and a Cal Fire aircraft.

The vegetation fire first was logged at about 3:34 p.m. in the area near Wetmore Road and triggered a second-alarm response that included Cal Fire, officials said.

"Valuable property was saved," the department said, adding "Great work team!"
