You're invited to this free community screening of the M Factor Documentary!

As part of an ongoing effort to foster awareness and support for women’s health and in celebration of Arts, Culture and Creativity Month's theme of "Health, Healing, Hope,", Livermore Public Library in partnership with the Dublin Arts Collective, is proud to present a free community screening of "The M Factor"—a groundbreaking documentary that sheds light on the physical, emotional, and mental health challenges of menopause. 

Faith Alpher, popular comedian and radio personality will be a special guest in addition to panelists Dr Mytilee Vermuri (Women's Wellness Clinic, Stanford University), Dr Bettina Zatuchni (Pleasanton Gynecology), Julie Rems-Smario (Co-Founder LEAD-K), Jessica Fitzgibbons and Christine Pham (CrossFit CSA) and Apryl Chauhan (ASL Interpreter).

The event will take place on April 19 from 2pm to 4pm at Livermore Library and will feature an engaging post-screening discussion on mental health and well-being. The film will include open captioning, and the post discussion will feature an American Sign Language interpreter.

Admission is free, thanks to sponsorships from Pleasanton Gynecology and The Frame Company and Art Gallery, but registration is required. Secure your spot today.

Directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Jacoba Atlas and produced by Emmy Award-winning journalist Tamsen Fadal, Denise Pines, and Emmy Award-winning Joanne LaMarca Mathisen, "The M Factor" brings to the forefront the often-overlooked psychological effects of menopause, including anxiety, depression, brain fog, and mood changes. By sharing personal stories, the film seeks to break the stigma surrounding menopause and encourage open conversations about mental health during this critical life stage.
