The Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance is hosting a Community Health, Resource &amp; Volunteer Fair at the Robert Livermore Community Center on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The fair will help anyone either hoping to get involved in the community or seeking support for themselves or their family.The fair will offer:    <ul><li>Free health screenings and mental health resources</li><li>Local nonprofits, city programs and county services</li><li>Youth activities with Quest Science Center</li><li>Senior services</li><li>Parks &amp; recreation</li><li>Civic and social support organizations</li><li>Volunteer opportunities</li><li>Free back-to-school backpack distribution from Tri-Valley Haven’s annual Backpacks for Kids program</li><li>Raffles and giveaways</li><li>Free lunch between 11:00-1:00pm for the first 450 attendees.</li></ul>

Concannon Vineyard

Spend your Thursday evenings at Concannon with live music, local food trucks, and your favorite wines on the Main Lawn. 
As the sun sets over the vineyards, enjoy performances from talented Bay Area musicians playing everything from classic rock and country to jazz and acoustic favorites. Grab a glass or bottle of wine, order dinner from a rotating food truck, and relax with friends and family in a beautiful vineyard setting. 
Plenty of seating is available, and you’re welcome to bring a blanket or low-back lawn chair. No reservations are required. Simply stop by whenever it’s convenient for you, find a spot on the lawn, and enjoy the evening. Kids are welcome, making Twilight Tunes an easy outing for the whole family.

McGrail Vineyards and Winery

Get ready for a night of high-energy entertainment on the Vineyard Patio at McGrail with The Killer Dueling Pianos! Sing, dance, and laugh along as they take requests and play everything from Frank Sinatra and Elvis to Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.
Your ticket includes a glass of McGrail wine upon arrival, plus an unforgettable show! A local food truck will be on-site with delicious food for purchase, and outside food is welcome. Additional McGrail wines will be available by the glass and bottle for purchase.
To ensure a seamless experience, we’ll be assigning tables for the event. If you're attending with friends under separate reservations and would like to be seated together, please email our Winery Event Manager, Shelby, with your seating requests at shelby@mcgrailvineyards.com. This is your chance to savor these two exceptional wines, along with four additional pours that will elevate your tasting experience. To make it even better, indulge in delectable cheese pairings handpicked by Brandon Wood, professional Cheese Expert, from The Cheese Parlor. Party attendees will taste 6 wines total, 4 of which (the NEW 2024 Petit Verdot and 2024 Petite Sirah included) will be paired with cheeses from the Cheese Parlor. Check out the incredible cheese pairings being offered:
2024 Petit Verdot paired with Postel Belgian Washed Rind Gouda A Belgian cow's milk cheese with a washed rind and aged Gouda character. Firm and smooth, with savory depth, caramel sweetness, and a lingering nutty richness.
2024 Petite Sirah paired with Brabander Goat Gouda A Dutch goat's milk cheese aged over 8 months. Bright and creamy, with a clean tang, notes of caramel and toffee, and a smooth, mellow finish.
2022 "Big Wood" Zinfandel paired with Alter Fritz Alpine Cheese A German-style Alpine cow's milk cheese, mountain-aged and firm. Nutty and full-bodied, with savory richness, hints of sweet cream, and a smooth, satisfying finish.
2022 "Muy Bueno" Zinfandel paired with Red Rock Cheddar An American cow's milk cheddar with marbled blue veining. Bold and crumbly, with sharp cheddar tang, earthy blue notes, and a rich, savory finish.
This release party is open to both members and non-members. Tickets are priced at $10 for Club Members and their guests, and $30 for Non-Club Members. Additionally, $10 will be refunded for every bottle purchased, up to the price of admission. We hope to see you there!
