The Livermore Art Association (LAA), alongside the Pleasanton Art League (PAL), welcomes all to attend their next meeting on Monday, November 9th. The general meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Bothwell Arts Center East Room, at 2466 8th St. in Livermore, and is free and open to the public (donations welcome). As the guest speaker, California artist David Gates will demonstrate his approach to impressionist landscape paintings and explain how he created his personal style. Gates is well known for his skill in capturing the essence of natural landscapes through luminous use of abstraction and raw hues.
