Calming Livermore Sunrise: Photos Of The Week

LIVERMORE, CA — Patch reader Cathy Moore shared photos of a relaxing sunrise.

Here's what she had to say of the early morning rays:

"As I opened my eyes this morning, I saw the beautiful glow of the morning sunrise through the window. Couldn't help myself, I watched the sunrise through the lens of my camera. First comes the sun peeking through the edge of the horizon, illuminating through the beautiful wondrous clouds and blue skies. As the sun continues to rise, I witnessed the first orange hue rays through the ripple of the clouds. And while the god-like rays glowing through the trees and the surroundings, I listened to the birds sing. How calming… How amazing… As emotions go through me, such beauty of the moment stilled my soul."
