Driver Arrested on Suspicion of DUI After Driving Off I-580 Embankment
BREAKING: CHP officials said neither the driver nor his passenger were injured.

LIVERMORE, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he lost control of his car and drove off of an embankment and into the center divide along I-580 in Livermore this morning, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
A Toyota Sienna drove off of the embankment along eastbound I-580 west of W. Grantline Road at about 4 a.m. A CHP spokesperson said the driver and his passenger were not injured and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Alameda County Fire Department responded to assist CHP, according to the Pulsepoint phone application.
