Community Invited To Mentor Middle, High School Students

Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is in need of volunteers to mentor middle and high school students.

LIVERMORE, CA - From Livermore School District: Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) invites interested community members to volunteer to serve as mentors for boys and girls in our middle and high schools.

In partnership with the NAACP, we ask you to consider joining the Reality Mentor program. By volunteering as a mentor, you will be supporting and guiding a middle or high school student to help him or her set and reach positive academic, career, and personal goals. The Reality Mentor program provides training and support for adults who can then serve as role models and champions for teens in our district for a period of one year.

For more information, please contact Helen Gladden, LVJUSD Assistant Director of Curriculum, hgladden@lvjusd.org, or sign up directly via the Reality Mentor website,www.realitymentorinc.org.
