Crash, Debris Cleared On I-580, CHP Cancels Sig-Alert

Traffic is returning to normal.

LIVERMORE, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-Alert Tuesday morning due to a collision on eastbound Interstate 580 east of N. Flynn Road in Livermore. The crash, which involved at least two vehicles, was reported just after 10:30 a.m., according to the CHP.

Debris from one of the trailers involved blocked at least one lane of traffic. Traffic was backed up for miles, according to 511.

That crash has finally been cleared, and traffic has lessened greatly, according to traffic maps. However, there are other, minor crashes on 580, the CHP reports.
