Creature Features is Back!
I grew up watching Bob Wilkins and John Stanley and now the Bay Area show is back with a new host.
I remember back in the day I would sneak up late Saturday night and watch Creature Features with my brother. I was always fascinated with the host Bob Wilkins sitting back in his yellow rocking chair while puffing on his cigar. Most of all, I loved the skull candle on the table and the way he presented the movies.
You can imagine my excitement when I heard that Creature Features was back in the Bay Area. At first, it was only available on NBTV, which is North Bay TV broadcasting from Santa Rosa, CA. At that time I was able to watch from the web and the Kindle app. It wasn't long before KOFY picked up the show as well as other stations across the country. I believe there is even an affiliate in South Africa.
I have a horror story podcast and YouTube channel called Scary Story Time where I decided to tell my stories instead of waiting for a publisher to pick them up. I also fill in the days where I do not have a story written with other stories from creepypasta sites and freshly written stories by those who want to hear their own scary stories on the podcast. I was absolutely thrilled when I was contacted by Creature Features to go up to Bodega Bay for an interview. All of the guests are always so much fun to watch and I'm just shy girl. I thought I would be way too nervous to even speak on TV. This wasn't the case at all. I felt right at home in the spooky settings of the Poulter Manor. The cast and crew were simply amazing and the retired rock star host Vincent Van Dahl made me feel like I knew him forever.

Now, every Saturday night at 10 PM Pacific, my friends and get together online and watch the premier of Creatures on YouTube and on KOFY TV. We joke about the campy old horror movies and chat about the guests of the show. If a show is ever missed, it can be watched online either on YouTube or on the Creature Features website.
