Livermore Hazmat Investigation Finds No Threat

LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department investigated a potential hazardous materials incident Tuesday afternoon behind the First Street Lowe's in Livermore, but determined it did not pose a threat.

The incident was reported around noon in the 4200 block of First Street. A cleanup company that works with Lowe's identified something unusual in a dumpster and called on officials to investigate.

Hazmat teams with LPFD and Alameda County Fire determined there was not a threat and disposed of the item.
