Man Shoots, Kills Brother After Argument in Livermore: ACSO
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has arrested one person in connection to the shooting.
LIVERMORE, CA — A shooting following a “dispute between two relatives” in Livermore on Saturday night left one man dead, an Alameda County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said. Just before 10 p.m., deputies were called to the 1000 block of Hartman Road to investigate a report of a shooting after a man called 911 to say that he shot his brother, according to Sgt. Ray Kelly.
Deputies who arrived at the scene found one man dead and arrested another on suspicion of homicide, Kelly said.
“The injuries to the victim were consistent with homicide by firearm,” Kelly said.

Authorities did not release the victim’s name and have not identified the man accused in the shooting. Kelly said the shooting likely occurred following a dispute between the brothers.
The Alameda County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy on the victim, Kelly said. The investigation is ongoing. No other information is available.
