Death On Livermore Hiking Trail Ruled Suicide
The popular hiking trail was closed for several hours during the investigation Saturday morning.

LIVERMORE, CA — A popular Livermore hiking trail was closed for several hours Saturday after a citizen discovered a body during the early morning hours, Alameda County Sheriff’s Office officials said. The 61-year-old Livermore man, whose name was not released, was found dead on the Arroyo Mocho Trail just after 6 a.m.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office investigated and the coroner’s officer ruled the death a suicide.
