Driver Killed During Crash On Patterson Pass Road Friday

LIVERMORE, CA — A Manteca man died early Friday morning during a collision in Livermore, police said. The crash was reported in the area of Patterson Pass Road east of South Vasco Road at about 5:20 a.m.

Police said the car, which was driven by 20-year-old Manteca resident Christopher Lopez, left Patterson Pass Road for unknown reasons and struck a tree. Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call Officer Starr with Livermore Police Department Traffic Unit at 925-371-4853.
