Dublin California Highway Patrol Celebrates Juneteenth

The community is invited to attend a reception on May 19, 2023

The Dublin Area of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) is celebrating Juneteenth and opening up its doors to the community. On June 19, 2023, the public is invited to visit their office at 4999 Gleason Drive, Dublin, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to interact with CHP employees and observe a special African-American/Black history exhibit. Attendees will be able to meet the exhibit's artist/curator, Mr. Titus Taylor who will be discussing the history and importance of various pieces of his personal collection.

Captain Christopher Sherry, Commander of the Dublin CHP said, "The CHP is proud to share this event with our community, friends/family, and various law enforcement professionals. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn something new and interact with our staff."

The three goals of the event are to celebrate Juneteenth, honor African-American/Black history, and get to know law enforcement officers/professionals. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP: thahn@chp.ca.gov
