Dublin High Grad Welcomed To Livermore After Serving In Army
Community members organized the touching homecoming celebration in honor of U.S. Army Specialist Patrick Barr.
LIVERMORE, CA — U.S. Army Specialist Patrick Barr was welcomed to Livermore Saturday with a touching community homecoming celebration hosted by Operation Welcome Home and the Warriors’ Watch Riders. Local dignitaries, community members, family and friends turned out to surprise Barr and celebrate his return.
The Dublin High School graduate enlisted in the military in 2015. After completing basic training, Barr picked explosive ordnance disposal as his job. The Oakland native was deployed to Afghanistan in July 2018. He served four years.
