East Bay Firefighters Extinguish Morning Brush Fire Near Livermore
Multiple fire agencies responded to battle the blaze.
Livermore, CA— Two brush fires that burned roughly 10 acres in the area of N. Vasco and Los Vaqueros roads in Contra Costa County have been extinguished, fire officials said.
The East Bay Regional Parks District, Cal Fire, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire and Alameda County Fire responded to help the Contra Costa Fire Protection District contain the fires, which were reported at about 9:12 a.m. Sunday, according to the Pulsepoint phone application.
Alameda County Fire Battalion Chief Stephanie Radecke asked that motorists driving near a brush fire or wildfire slow down and turn their lights on, especially when firefighters were working right alongside the road.

"Cars were just flying along Vasco Road," Radecke said. "Firefighters safety is our primary concern."
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. No structures were damaged and the causes are under investigation.
