From their start in 1948, the Four Freshmen pioneered a new style of close-harmony vocals built on the barbershop tradition. Today’s ensemble of highly educated, musically diverse young men, has been called the greatest jazz vocal group of all time. While preserving the unmistakable sound of the original group, their fresh vitality enhances the jazz and pop standards that made the Four Freshmen a success, blending four-part harmonies, a twist of elegance, a splash of swing, and a whole lot of fun.
