The women and children who come to Shepherd’s Gate are seeking to start a new life. They are able shop for free at the thrift store for clothes for job interviews and school as well as items to furnish a new place to live after graduation. Proceeds from the thrift store directly support the women and children at Shepherd’s Gate by providing care, safety, education and encouragement as they rebuild their lives. Spring Rep will open with Prokofiev ‘s iconic Peter and the Wolf to the delight of children of all ages.Act 1 will close with Arthur Sullivan’s Pineapple Pole, a rousing romp of sailors and their girls and unrequited love all with a touch of humor. Act 2 will open with Gershwin’s unforgettable American in Paris, featuring tapping gendarmes, the baker and his tart, the dog walker with her poodles plus the American and French couples falling in love.
