The women and children who come to Shepherd’s Gate are seeking to start a new life. They are able shop for free at the thrift store for clothes for job interviews and school as well as items to furnish a new place to live after graduation. Proceeds from the thrift store directly support the women and children at Shepherd’s Gate by providing care, safety, education and encouragement as they rebuild their lives. We wanted to share a simple (and fun!) way to support the dogs at Calpaws K9 Rescue.
On May 30th, we’re hosting a Texas Hold’em Poker Night in Livermore — a relaxed evening where you can enjoy good food, great company, and a little friendly competition, all while helping dogs in need.
Event Details: 
📍 940 Larkspur Drive, Livermore 
💵 $100 buy-in
Your seat includes: 
• Dinner 
• A drink ticket 
• $4,000 in chips to play
This event is open to all skill levels — whether you’ve never played before or know your way around the table, you’ll fit right in.
Most importantly, every dollar raised goes toward the dogs we rescue and care for. From medical needs to daily supplies, your support directly impacts their journey to a safe and loving home.
If you’re able to join us, we’d love to have you there. And if not, sharing the event or inviting a friend means just as much.
