Fall Colors In Livermore: Photos Of The Day

Ray Woo and Glenn Stewart shared these symphonies of color with Patch.

LIVERMORE, CA — For many, Thanksgiving doesn’t just mean turkey: it also means an explosion of gold, red, and orange.

In the first photo, Livermore resident Ray Woo took a picture of golden trees at the golden hour. “I opened my front door to catch this burst of color as the sun was rising
japanese maples, smoke bushes and crape myrtle are all bright red and orange
the sun rise (golden hour) intensified the colors,” he said.

Glenn Stewart got a glimpse of the stunning colors at Lake A, a part of the Chain-of-Lakes project located in between Livermore and Pleasanton.
