Lodi Man Killed In Livermore Crash

At press time, all lanes have reopened, according to the Livermore Police Department.

LIVERMORE, CA — A Lodi man was killed in an early morning crash Thursday at Isabel Avenue at East Jack London Boulevard in Livermore, according to Livermore police. The 27-year-old driver was behind the wheel of a white 2015 Kia Optima and collided with the rear bumper of a tractor trailer; he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to LPD spokesperson Joanna Johnson. The big rig driver was not injured in the crash, Johnson said. At this time, it's unknown if drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the crash, Johnson added.

The crash, which was reported at 3:01 a.m., shut down northbound traffic lanes on Isabel Avenue as police investigated the collision. All lanes reopened before 9 a.m.
