Fire Near Livermore Homeless Encampment Extinguished Saturday
No one was injured as a result of the fire.

LIVERMORE, CA — A small vegetation fire on eastbound Interstate 580 east of N. Livermore Avenue Saturday burned less than one acre, fire officials said. The blaze started near a homeless encampment along the busy freeway.
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews and the California Highway Patrol responded to investigate. No one was injured as a result of the fire and no structures were threatened, according to fire officials.
