Alameda County Supe Gives Away Free Air Masks In Livermore
The masks were handed out in Livermore Thursday afternoon.

LIVERMORE, CA — Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty's office handed out free air masks in Livermore Thursday afternoon. Haggerty says he teamed up with the Bay Area Air District to distribute the masks to East Bay residents.
Haggerty has handed out masks at several East Bay locations since Monday. Those in need of N95 masks were invited to stop by the Lizzy Fountain but they have since run out of masks after handing out 1400 in 39 minutes.
Smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County continues to cause unhealthy air quality in the Bay Area and the haze is expected to linger through Monday, air quality officials said. The hazardous smoke has created unhealthy conditions for much of the region over the past few days.
