Granada High Grad Gets Hero's Welcome Home
Naval airman Joshua Fritz returned home to the Tri-Valley in October.
Livermore resident and naval airman Joshua Fritz was welcomed home on October 24 with a homecoming celebration hosted by the Pleasanton Military Families Support Group.
According to the Pleasanton Military Families Support Group, Fritz graduated in 2009. He joined the United States Navy in 2012.
“Josh was an Airman and worked on the flight deck of the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier, while stationed in Washington State, PMF said. “The ship was deployed to the Persian Gulf in 2013 for an extended deployment.”

The Pleasanton Military Families Support Group is a nonprofit organization that provides support to troops and families of military personnel.
