I-580 Grass Fire Extinguished
Traffic backed up for miles. Smoke caused visibility problems.

LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters extinguished a grass fire burning along Interstate Highway 580 in Livermore. The blaze was reported on the eastbound side near Vasco Road just after 5:30 p.m.
The smoke from the fire temporarily impacted traffic in both directions. No other information is available.
